About BMR: Blue Mountain Racing is a higly successful racing program that has been in existence for more than 25 years. Director
Amato DePaulo and his staff of expert coaches have many years of expertice. Because of these coaches many BMR skiers have
been successful at local, state and regional events. These skiers have gone onto academies or colleges and many have returned
to Blue Mountain to become coaches and advisors themselves.
All racers need
a season pass or individual lift ticket
Developmental +++ This one and a half hour program is designed for skiers ages 5 (before Dec. 31, 2011) and for 6
year olds who are not ready for the full four hour Mountaineer Program. The emphasis will be on developing their skiing skills
and preparing them for our Mountaineer Program. Skiers in this program will be divided into two small groups depending on
their ability. All skiers ready for this program should be capable of skiing beginner terrain, riding the chair lift without
an adult, and be able to follow directions in their group. There will be two sessions each day, the first starting at 9:00am
and ending at 10:30am and the second session starting at 11:30am and ending at 1:00pm. This program will be limited to ten
skiers in each session and will start in January and continue every Saturday and Sunday until the end of February.
Mountaineers +++ This program
is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers ages 6 through 10. The emphasis will be on strengthening their existing
skiing skills and developing the beginning steps of racing technique. Skiers in this program will be divided into classes
depending on their age and ability. All skiers ready for this program should be capable of riding the chair lift without an
adult and be able to follow directions in their group.
Junior 6 (Born 2003 or later) +++ Junior 5 (Born 2001 - 2002) +++ Junior 4 (Born 1999 - 2000)

This program is designed for
youngsters up to the age of 12 who are interested in racing techniques and plan on entering sanctioned races in Pennsylvania.
Previous race technique is not required. Racers younger than 10 will be required to try out with race coaches. All racers must
join the "Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association" (PARA) and "The United States Ski Association" (USSA)
Junior 3 (Born 1997 - 1998) +++ This program is designed for youngsters up to ages 13 and 14 who are interested in advanced
racing techniques and plan to enter sanctioned races in Pennsylvania. Previous race training is not required but recommended. All racers must join the "Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association"
(PARA) and "The United States Ski Association" (USSA)
Junior 1 ( Born 1992 thru 1994) +++ Junior 2 ( Born 1995 -1996) +++ This
program is designed for serious competitors ages 15 through 18 who want to race in races at local, state, and
national levels. These racers will be required to ski challenging courses set on difficult terrain. This program is competitive.
All of these participates must join "Pennsylvania Alpine Racing Association"
(PARA) and "United States Ski Association" (USSA). In addition may need a FIS license.
