MOUNTAINEERS

This program is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers ages six(6) through ten(10) to prepare them for competition. Participants are expected to attend all training sessions on both weekend days.

Training emphasis will be on strengthening existing skiing skills and developing the initial steps of racing technique. Participants in this program will be divided into classes by age and ability. All children ready for this program should be capable of riding the chair lift independently and be able to follow directions within their groups.

New participants to the program may be subject to a tryout to assess that they maintain the appropriate skiing skills.

*Program start on-snow is dependent on the Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Training Dates:

Scheduled to start Dec * and run every Saturday and Sunday through February.

Training Times:

9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A Season Pass is required to participate in the program.

Registration will be in the Race Front Room at the Summit Lodge behind Last Run Lounge from 9 AM to 10:30 AM

This is a 1 run Giant Slalom Race
Awards will be given to top 3 in following categories:
- Ages 6 & 7 Male/Female
- Ages 8 & 9 Male Female
- Ages 10 to 13 Male/Female
- Ages 14 to 17 Male/Female
Awards will be outside the race office at the Summit Lodge
