MOUNTAINEERS
This program is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers ages six(6) through ten(10) to prepare them for competition
.
Participants are expected to attend all training sessions on both weekend days.

Training emphasis will be on strengthening existing skiing skills and developing the initial steps of racing technique. Participants in this program will be divided into classes by age and ability. All children ready for this program should be capable of riding the chair lift without an adult and be able to follow directions in their groups.
New participants to the program may be subject to a tryout to assess
that they maintain the appropriate skiing skills .
A Season Pass is required to participate in the program.
*Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Training Dates:
Scheduled to start Dec * and run every Saturday and Sunday through February.

Training Times:
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration will be in the Race Front Room at the Summit Lodge behind Last Run Lounge from 9 AM to 11 AM

You MUST register your athlete for this race

This is a 1 run Giant Slalom Race

Awards will be given to top 3 in following categories:

Ages 6 & 7 Male/Female

Ages 8 & 9 Male Female

Ages 10 to 13 Male/Female

Ages 14 to 17 Male/Female

BMR coaches will be available to ski over athletes from the Summit Lodge around 1 PM, but parents should be at the finish to collect athletes after the race.

Awards will be given at the Timing Shack at the bottom of Razor’s Edge following the last racer.
